What data we collect and why

We collect data through three channels:

1. Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

GA4 collects:

• Page views and navigation paths
• Events - button clicks, form interactions, scroll depth
• Approximate user geography (country / region - not street-level)
• Device and browser type
• Conversion events (e.g. contact form submissions)
• Session duration and engagement metrics

Data is sent to and processed by Google LLC (United States). IP addresses are anonymized before storage. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

2. Microsoft Clarity

Clarity collects:

• Session recordings - Clarity records how you navigate and interact with pages (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling). These recordings help us identify usability issues.
• Heatmaps - aggregated click and scroll patterns across users
• Rage-clicks, dead-clicks, and frustration signals
• Device, browser, and approximate geographic region

Data is processed by Microsoft Corporation (United States). Microsoft's privacy policy: privacy.microsoft.com. Clarity does not sell data or use it for advertising.

3. Contact form

When you submit the contact form at contact.html, we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Message content
• Any optional details you choose to include (company, service interest)

This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties beyond the email service used to deliver and receive it.

Data transfers to the US are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, and by Standard Contractual Clauses in other cases.

Data retention

• GA4: Data is retained for 14 months (Google's default retention setting). You can request deletion at any time.
• Clarity: Session recordings are retained for 90 days by default under Microsoft's standard policy.
• Contact form data: Retained in email for as long as needed to manage the business relationship, then deleted.

Cookies

This site uses cookies only when you accept analytics. No marketing, advertising, or social tracking cookies are set. The analytics tools set first-party and third-party cookies to distinguish sessions, measure returning visitors, and maintain recording state.

Your consent choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key cookie_consent. This is not a tracking cookie - it stores only your accept/decline preference and never leaves your browser.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold:

• Rectification - request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure - request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
